Those mornings when my sleep means more to me than my outfit and I have zero time to think about what I am going to wear I immediately reach to one of my go-to outfits.
This outfit is a no brainer for me. I love the black/blue combo you are seeing a lot right now. These shoes are actually comfortable and the belt and heel add a fun pop of neon.
The gold band was my great-grandmother’s first wedding band and after my grandmother gave it to me I rarely let it leave my finger.
Happy Friday! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!
I bought this dress after realizing that the two dresses I had intended to bring to wear to the wedding were still hanging in my closet and I was already over an hour into my drive.
In true female fashion I ended up in a different dress mainly because the fabric on this one is pretty heavy and the wedding was outside which meant I needed a light and flowy option.
My favorite part of the dress is the velvet polka dots. This dress is the perfect addition to my wardrobe with it almost Fall. With a few addition layers and some boots this dress is an easy transition. Which I am sure you will be seeing again once the weather finally cools off.
Beating the heat was impossible this past weekend in Charleston, so when I was choosing my outfit to tour around Fort Sumter I went with the lightest, breeziest pieces I brought.
Shirt: Loft (old, similar) Shorts: Loft (old) Shoes: Report (On SALE!!)
To say that I love these floral shorts would be an understatement. They have been on constant rotation this summer for a few reasons. 1) They are light weight 2) They are breezy and finally and most importantly 3) They are right on trend.
Heat and humidity lead to the mop that you currently see on the top of my head. Please forgive me as there was no fixing that mop no matter how hard I tried.
I wore this to a wedding I attended in Charleston this past weekend. It was a girls weekend with five amazing friends and I accompanied one of them to the wedding. While it was beyond hot the wedding and the couple could not have been more beautiful. It was a short and sweet ceremony with reception to follow at The William Aiken House in beautiful downtown Charleston.
After the ceremony, cake cutting, toasts and a few hello and goodbyes we were off to watch UGA take on Clemson at a fun and lively bar also located in downtown Charleston called Midtown Bar & Grill. Even though my Dawgs lost it was a good game with good friends and a great weekend over all.
More posts to come of our adventures while in Charleston.
